The River High is melodic alt rock outfit from Minneapolis that fuses folk-inspired male/female vocals with classic rock strut.

The band released their self-titled EP in 2016, followed by full-length Blood & Darkness in 2018, and has enjoyed local radio play while playing Twin Cities venues Fine Line, The Cabooze, the Parkway Theater and St. Paul’s Amsterdam Hall, Hat Trick Lounge, and O’Gara’s Bar (RIP).

Justin Law (vocals, guitar), Rena Rasmussen (vocals, guitar), Joe Masanz (bass) and Jason Anderson (drums) build their songs upon riffs and melody, Dual vocals blend into one and guitars and rhythm section banter, resulting in a sound that  “sits comfortably in the middle of harmonizing doom folk and southern-style stoner rock.”
